HARLOW WILL BE AT ROCK LAHOMA


80's glam band HARLOW are back together after 15 years with a new record on Retrospect Records.  Mickey Kravitz (vocals), Hyland Church(guitar),  Mike Rubyor(drums), Matt Cascio(guitar) were signed to Greenworld records in 1986 and released the album " We do what we wanna do" and the single "Rock the box".

Retrospect records will be reissuing the first record along with 5 to 6 new songs.


The new CD "Now and Then" should be released by mid June 2008


In 2005  Cleopatra records re-released the single "Rock the Box" on the  box Set "Hollywood Rocks" along with other 80's rockers Poison, L.A. guns, Faster Pussycat, Great White, etc...


Harlow is bass-less... Harlow is having a few friends record bass tracks on the new record so far they have Steve Priest from (The Sweet),  Jeff Pilson from (Dokken, Foreigner, Dio). The band also has Cherie Currie from (The Runaways) and new artist Electra doing a few back up vocals ..


HARLOW will be playing ROCK LAHOMA this year and is planing a contest on a  Kansas City Mo. radio station to fill the bass player spot. Winner of the contest will  join the band HARLOW and  play ROCK LAHOMA and any other shows that come up.

 Mickey has been in the music industry for over 20 years as a singer writer, producer, and on-air talent. In 1986 at the age of 19 he signed an independent record deal with Greenworld Records(distributed through Capitol Records) with his band HARLOW. The first single “Rock the Box” received a small amount of radio play and the band moved from Kansas City Mo. to Hollywood, Ca. Mickey has played just about every club in Hollywood from The Whiskey, The Roxy, FM Station,The Cathouse. etc. and has shared the same stage with such bands as Guns and Roses, Poison, Warrant, Faster Pussycat, Great White, Bang Tango, Tuff, Black Cherry, Suicidal Tendencies, etc... 

In 1990 Mickey Signed a production deal to record with his band Baby Strange and since then Mickey has continued to perform, write and record with Vendetta, The Smash and today recording solo.

In 1998 he started ROCKNROLLSTATION.COM  one of the first live internet stations to offer live audio and live video.  After years of crazy rock shows and 5 hour interviews  he brought the same format to KRLA 870 radio. Mickey is the one that brought you the long awaited Runaways reunion interview along with interviews of Ronnie James Dio, Duff, Slash and Gilby Clark(Guns and Roses, Velvet Revolver), AC/DC, Phil Mogg(UFO), Def Leppard, Bif Naked, Stephen Pearcy(RATT) L A Guns, Judas Priest, Jeff Pilson(Dokken), Slaves on Dope, Taproot, Bruce Kulick(KISS), Grand Funk Railroad, Billy Sheehan, Geddy Lee(RUSH), Tesla, Stryper, Yngwie Malmsteen, Machine Head, Nickelback, Josh Todd(Buck Cherry), Brent Muscat(Faster Fussycat),Tony Harnell(TNT),Mark Reale(Riot), Carmine and Vinnie Appice, Ron Keel and Mark Ferrari(Keel) King's X, The Streetwalkin Cheetahs..These are just a few. He had the opportunity to not only program rocknrollstation.com and his show Rock Talk on KRLA but also do a daily show with rock trivia, news, interviews and voice over work. Creator of the Comedy/Drama radio soap "Hollywood Heights" a radio soap about a band called Christmas living in Hollywood and the ups and downs of trying to make it which aired on KRLA radio in Los Angeles.

Mickey has added A&R to his resume, in 2006. Using his 20 years plus musical experience he teamed up with Hitt Ventures to head their A&R department.

After 20 years the Single "Rock the Box" was re-released on the Cleopatra records box set "Hollywood Rocks" and is featured in the movie "Fancy Pony" to be released in 2007.
